The home is filled with natural light thanks to floor-to-ceiling windows and has countryside views from almost every angle. Relax with fellow guests in the heart of the house, the open-plan kitchen/diner, which is spacious and well-equipped for big family meals. When the weather behaves itself, slide open the glass balcony doors to bring the fresh air in. The inviting lounge is wonderful for curling up and getting cosy, with its wood burner and Smart TV. A snug/games room adds an extra space to spread out, especially handy for younger guests. The three beautifully decorated bedrooms include two king-size rooms, one of which has an en-suite shower room, and a twin room that’s perfect for youngsters. The family bathroom has a luxurious freestanding bath and walk-in shower, and there’s a second bathroom with a regular tub and a walk-in shower. Outside is a sunny, glass-fronted balcony stretching along the first floor – ideal for morning coffee or evening drinks. Below, a partially covered patio area with BBQ and seating is perfect for al fresco feasts. There’s also plenty of private parking available.
Locally, South Molton has no shortage of welcoming pubs, cafés and shops to browse. Quince Honey Farm (3 miles), is wonderful for learning all about bees, wandering nectar gardens and letting small kids enjoy the soft play area. On Exmoor, you can hike, cycle or try pony trekking across dramatic moorland and through ancient wooded valleys. One small pet welcome in secure garden area.
