A delightful three-storey property enjoying an envious location on the water's edge, overlooking the harbour, is perfect for friends or families seeking a restful holiday. The house is an ideal base from which to explore the historic city of Plymouth. The ocean city has a treasure trove of attractions you can easily reach via the Mountbatten Ferry (0.5 miles). Explore the National Maritime Aquarium or the beautiful Art Deco Tinside Lido. Visit nearby Bovisand Beach (3 miles), a sheltered bay with golden sands, ideal for swimming and rock pooling. Plymouth hosts the national fireworks competition every year in August giving Mountbatten House a prime location for the display.

Enter this attractive house on the ground floor. At the end of the hallway, you'll find a stylish double bedroom with an en-suite shower room and large patio doors leading out to a marina-front terrace. Upstairs, you'll find the bright and spacious lounge/diner, featuring a coastal-themed decor that complements the splendid harbour views. Slide open the glass doors and step onto the terrace. There is a Smart TV for entertainment and comfortable sofas. The kitchen has all the appliances you need to cook up a storm. Another staircase brings you to the second floor, featuring a tranquil double room with marina views and a twin room. There is a Jack and Jill bathroom on this floor, accessible either via the hallway or directly from the double bedroom. Outside, the property has two waterfront terraces/balconies overlooking the marina. These terraces feature outdoor seating and a BBQ, making them ideal for dining alfresco on fine days. There is private parking for two cars.

For those who love the outdoors, Radford Park is just 2 miles away, offering green spaces, a lake, and an arboretum to explore. History buffs and garden enthusiasts will find Saltram House (5.5 miles) a delight. Firestone Bay and Wembury Bay, both within 10 miles, offer opportunities for peaceful walks and rock pooling.

Wow!!! the photos do not do Mountbatten House and the views justice. We booked Mountbatten House with the idea that if we just wanted at day spent relaxing in the property we would have the benefit of the balconies to watch the world go by. Well we certainly did that with the heatwave, had 2 days "staying put" but can honestly say it was not a choRead morere to do so, or a wasted day as we watched all the shipping go by & the goings on in the Marina,it was just total relaxation and couldn't have picked a better spot to do so. If you wanted to you could just park the car up for the week, and explore the coast path, take nearby local buses or use the Mountbatten Ferry. Tastefully and comfortably furnished, a credit to the Owner (who was exceptionally helpful with a couple of queries we had - thank you). Would we recommend, Oh a BIG Yes, would we go back again, another BIG yes. Hide
