With a bubbling hot tub, generous living spaces and easy access to North Devon’s most celebrated beaches, it’s a wonderful base to relax between surf sessions or scenic walks.

Accessed by a flight of stairs from the parking area, this is a light and airy house with large windows framing country and coastal views. The main lounge boasts a bay window for soaking up the view alongside comfortable seating for sociable evenings around the Smart TV. A second snug creates a calm corner for film nights or children’s downtime, while the well-equipped kitchen with its large range oven invites guests to gather between the breakfast bar, dining table and bi-fold doors that spill out to the patio. Upstairs are four peaceful bedrooms, a master king-size that can be arranged as a twin, two doubles and a twin ideal for younger guests. A family bathroom and two en-suite shower rooms ensure comfort and convenience. The charm continues outside with a large patio housing outdoor sofas and sun loungers, a dining area and a hot tub – the perfect spot to unwind as the sun goes down. There’s also an enclosed grassy garden with a climbing frame, swings and slides, plus private parking for four cars.

Stroll into Woolacombe (under a mile) for bucket-and-spade beach days on the award-winning sands, surf schools and other water sports, and a selection of coastal shops and cafes. Head to Ilfracombe (5 miles) for delicious seafood, a host of family-friendly activities, and a glimpse of Damien Hirst’s iconic Verity sculpture. Keen walkers can pick up the South West Coast Path or head inland to roam the wild moorland of Exmoor National Park (from 13 miles).

Nice property with great views. The walk to and from the beach is a lot further than implied and if using the road there are sections with no pavement so not ideal for families. Had requested double bedroom to be made as a twin but this did not happen. Climbing frame in garden is falling apart and is dangerous, this was a real shame as our grandchiRead moreldren were staying with us. Overall had a good time. Hide

Beautiful house, very well appointed with everything provided for arrival. Driveway not for the faint of heart but allows for the fabulous views
