Set opposite Stokenham’s quiet village green, this country cottage is a joy to behold. Step inside to find traditional styling and soft touches throughout, including in the warm, welcoming sitting room with plush seating and a TV/DVD. Next to it, the dining room and kitchen are separate, creating ample space for good conversation and sociable moments as the day unfolds. The first of four bedrooms, a versatile zip-and-link, is on this floor and benefits from a Jack and Jill shower room that also connects to the hallway. The three remaining bedrooms are upstairs, one with an en-suite and two boasting far-reaching sea views. Slapton Ley, the largest natural lake in the South West, is just 1 mile away, offering a unique starting point for coastal walks and bike rides. Further up the coast, the pristine Blackpool Sands Beach (6 miles) is a must-visit – an award-winning destination for swimming, sunbathing and ball games. A little farther still, Dartmouth (9.5 miles) awaits, a vibrant riverside town with colourful architecture, a lively harbour and plenty of shops, pubs and restaurants to elevate your escape.

Island House is a large spacious well equipped property with great facilities ideal for large families and a downstairs bedroom and shower room. The house is in a beautiful location with great views. Great Pubs very close by with good food. Lovely walks and the beach and farm shop is within walking distance.
