Driftwood features and nautical accents add to the coastal charm of this attractive Ilfracombe abode – a wonderful destination for six guests to call their own. Just a short walk away, you can explore Ilfracombe Harbour, a highlight of the Devonshire coast, where fishing boats ease gently in and out of town, and the streets are lined with boutique shops and galleries. Wildersmouth Beach, a rugged sand and shingle cove popular on sunny days, is less than half a mile away, allowing you to enjoy the seaside without needing to take the car.

This vibrant holiday retreat features a bright aesthetic enhanced by natural light, altogether creating a welcoming place to unwind. Step into the open-plan lounge/diner, a spacious room with a step up into the dining area, perfect for all kinds of late-night relaxation. The kitchen, just next door, is well placed for meal prep, and once dinner is done and tidied away, you can settle in for an evening in front of the Smart TV. Upstairs, three bedrooms also offer Smart TVs, creating space for slow mornings and cosy movie nights. The largest bedroom is a king-size, while the remaining two are doubles, and all are served by a refreshing family bathroom.

Although there’s no outdoor space in this town-centre holiday home, you are perfectly positioned to get outside and explore everything rural Devon has to offer. Follow the South West Coast Path to Combe Martin Bay (4.5 miles), home to a beautiful sandy cove ideal for afternoons of sunbathing and ball games. Combe Martin lies on the edge of Exmoor National Park, celebrated for its rich wildlife and grazing wild ponies. In the opposite direction, the North Devon National Landscape (1.5 miles) boasts exceptional surf beaches and an unforgettable National Landscape to discover.

We had a lovely stay at the cottage. It was in great condition, beautifully decorated and very well maintained. The location is fantastic, right next to the harbour, which made it ideal with kids and the dog as we could easily pop out whenever we wanted. The car park just across the road was also really helpful. The owners have clearly put a lotRead more of thought into the finishing touches. The bathrooms were stocked with toiletries, there was a bottle of bubbles and snacks waiting for us on arrival, and even a welcome hamper for the dog which was such a thoughtful gesture. We had a quick question during our stay and the owner responded straight away, being friendly and very helpful. We would happily stay again. Hide
