Get the whole gang together at this exquisite holiday home sitting on 2.5 acres of private land in Westward Ho! Sleeping 14 people across seven bedrooms, it’s ideal for large families or groups looking for a luxurious retreat where they can celebrate a special occasion together in North Devon. Head into Westward Ho! to stroll along the beach and meet the horses in Northam Burrows Country Park. And in the evening, come home to host a movie marathon in your cottage’s private cinema room. Park in your private spot (there’s room for 12 cars), and step inside this spacious two-storey home, which has three stylish reception rooms on the ground floor. There’s also a spacious open-plan living/kitchen/dining area with impressive floor-to-ceiling glass doors that invite the natural light and rolling sea views in. When it’s time to eat, rustle up some dinner and gather everyone together to eat at the elegant dining table. Alternatively, head out onto the patio, fire up the gas BBQ and share an al fresco dinner while you take in the stunning sea views towards Saunton Sands and Woolacombe. After dinner, take a relaxing dip in the outdoor hot tub, screen your favourite movie in the cinema room, have a little fun in the games room, or unwind by the wood burner in the lounge area. At the end of the day, head upstairs and you’ll find seven beautiful super-king-size bedrooms with their own en-suite bathrooms. Three have zip-and-link beds that can be converted into twins, and five have access via patio doors out onto the balcony.

Head into the pretty village of Appledore (3.5 miles) to surround yourself in colourful cottages and check out the local craft stores. Alternatively, the wee ones will love meeting the animals at The Big Sheep Farm Park (2 miles).

We had a great stay. Lots of room for our family of 14 to spread out in. There is a very spacious living room with large settees and different zones to chill out in and also a separate games room and a hot tub. The dining table seated all of us very comfortably so we could all eat together each evening.
