Close to the golden sands of Woolacombe Beach, this spacious coastal retreat is ideal for families or friends seeking sea air, surf and scenic walks along the South West Coast Path. With plenty of room to spread out indoors, it also boasts a south-facing, enclosed garden where children and pets can run and play.

With multiple living spaces, the welcoming detached cottage offers a perfect balance of sociable living and relaxed downtime. The kitchen is fully equipped with a microwave and a dishwasher for convenience, and leads into the conservatory/diner, where you can gather for hearty meals before sinking into the comfortable sofa and enjoying the views of the garden. Alternatively, get cosy in the snug or make yourself comfortable in the main lounge – both have a Smart TV. Behind the panelling in the snug is a ‘secret’ shower room, and the ground-floor also features a single bedroom and a double with an en-suite. Upstairs, two further doubles are tucked beneath sloping ceilings (low in places), both enjoying distant sea views. One of them includes a cosy den area with a TV, just right for young children. A family bathroom completes the layout. The south-facing, enclosed garden includes a raised seating area and a lawn where pets and littles ones can play safely. Private parking is available for three cars.

Discover the popular resort of Woolacombe (1.5 miles), where you’ll find a variety of shops and places to eat, as well as a vast, sandy beach – ideal for sunbathing, sandcastle-building, games and swimming. You can also try out some water sports here or, if you’re feeling energetic, join the South West Coast Path for walks with stunning views. Croyde (6 miles) is renowned for its surfing beach, while Barnstaple (13 miles) has an array of interesting shops.

Lovely property in a great location. Well equipped with everything you need - fantastic American style fridge/freezer and large farmhouse cooker, there is even an air fryer! Everything was spotlessly clean. We had a small problem with a smoke alarm and the owner dealt with it the same day, excellent service.
