On the ground floor of this delightful cottage, two separate spaces create room for relaxing. The first is a lovely lounge, designed with soft seating set around a Smart TV and wood burner, with river views. The second space for hanging out is the dining room, again featuring a delightful wood burner. Sit here during long, drawn-out mealtimes or whilst playing a board game. Five bedrooms are positioned throughout the first and second floors, accompanied by four en-suites and one family bathroom. For your guests of honour, the largest room is a super king-size master on the second floor, accompanied by a TV, seating area and en-suite with a luxurious roll-top bath. Outside, along with private parking for four cars, discover a delightful balcony suspended over the river.

In Tuckenhay, the Bow Creek estuary sees the Harbourne River flow into the River Dart. Follow the waterside pathway along the river, enjoying the beautiful scenery of the South Devon AONB as you explore, making your way down to Dartmouth (6.5 miles). Blackpool Sands, another local highlight, is just 7 miles away, offering a curve of white sand and tranquil waters. Discover further beaches in the nearby towns of Torquay (12 miles), Paignton (9 miles) and Brixham (8.5 miles), lovingly referred to as the English Riviera, owing to its unique microclimate.

The house is in a beautiful location, the beds are comfy and the kitchen is very well equipped. The downstairs area felt damp when we arrived and it could do with a deep clean. There were nine of us, 5 adults, 2 teenagers, a 12 year old and a 9 year old, the style of the lounge furniture meant we were cramped when we were having family time in theRead more evening.
