It was a lovely stay, the weather was good and the birds were singing. The cottage is attached to the owners house and they were very helpful with any problems, always answered text straight away and sorted things out.

Spent our 1st wedding anniversary here and hubby spent it on the floor. An honest review can sometimes be uncomfortable to those supplying the guests with an accommodation to meet anyone's expectations. The photos, were cleverly presented. No direct views, well boiled and rough towels, no welcome pack (as offered in most self catering) other than tRead morewo chocolates and half a pint of milk. The request to address the uneven poor supportive mattress not resolved as hubby slept on the floor instead.
Response from Holiday Cottages: Sorry to hear you found the bed uncomfortable, the mattress is recently new, other guests have commented on its comfort. The owner wanted to resolve matters and offered to help, however was not permitted access. The welcome pack includes milk, tea, chocolate, fresh flowers, dog treats plus toilet roll, kitchen roll, dishwasher tablets, bin bags and cleaning materials. The owner lives next door and is happy to help during your stay. Hide
