This beautifully decorated property located close to the beach in Westward Ho! is not to be missed. Offering spectacular views from the comfort of the sofa, as well as its enclosed outdoor patio area, you'll always feel close to the beach. Surfing, walking, and amusement arcades all await you down on the beach so make use of the well-equipped kitchen and enjoy a hearty breakfast before heading out for the day.

This property has been decorated throughout with a mix of neutral tones and wooden flooring, making it light and inviting. The upstairs shower room is luxurious with its high ceilings, large walk-in shower and his and hers sinks. This property also has a handy downstairs shower room and the addition of an outside shower to wash down at the end of a day on the beach. The kitchen is not short of amenities and has plenty of space to prepare a family meal, so why not take in the sunset from the patio and enjoy some al fresco dining. Conclude the evening by snuggling on the sofas watching the TV with some buttery popcorn.

Westward Ho! itself has a range of activities to get involved in, from golf and go-karting to lovely scenic walks along the South West Coastal Path which provide stunning views out towards Lundy Island. From the nearby town of Bideford, just 3.5 miles away, you can catch a day ferry out to the car-free island famous for its puffins. The island is no longer than 3 miles in length but offers stunning scenery, wildlife and plenty of history for you to explore.

Lovely inside the cottage, very clean and comfortable. The bathrooms are amazing. I would recommend the inside. The outside is a different thing, it's overgrown and scruffy. They have obviously spent a lot of money doing it up to let it go to a mess. The cobbles on the side/drive and I stumbled on them and spent the last few days of the holiday hobRead morebling. Lovely clean and comfortable property, in a great scenic location. Parking can be a bit tricky with a larger car due to how other holidaymakers park down the road. Really missed the wi fi. I knew this was not available in advance so was prepared for it. Could only get mobile phone coverage outside the property which was a real pain when it was raRead moreining or overnight when you wanted to plan or book restaurants or tickets. Really spacious property with comfy beds, great views and the beach a short (up a hill on the way back!) walk away. We loved the coastal path, sunsets on the beach and pizza from Pig and Olive. Fab stay!

Fairway Cottage is a deceptively spacious and well laid out property with everything one could possibly need to make the stay comfortable and relaxing. The location is peaceful and less than a ten minute walk to the centre. Yes, it is a bit of a climb but totally worth the effort for the fantastic views. We enjoyed walking to the Pier House for Read morea meal and every day took our little dog to the dog friendly beach. Hide

This is our second stay in this cottage and we really like it. It's clean and has everything you need. Yes it's up the hill but it's only a 7 minute walk and you're right in town so as long as you don't have mobility issues it's fine.. Also has its own parking and an enclosed patio with some grass out the front if your dog is fussy like ours. GreaRead moret cottage, always enjoy our stay. Hide

The house is in need of a major refresh inc. new soft furnishings and a good sofa clean. (We always bring our own throws to protect all furnishings incase the dogs get on them) It smelled of damp-we bought air fresheners , there was no tea towel, the tin opener was broken, although notified about the damaged bathroom door lock the door could not beRead more closed as the interior doorknob was not attached. Nicely decorated for the new season, comfortable, good views, easy access to the town and beaches. Smart TV not very smart without internet but we barely watched it and didnt miss internet access at all.
