Marvellous lounge with a superb view, superb kitchen and good double bedroom. Very steep hill from the property to the town unsuitable for the disabled. Good selection of shops and eating places in the town.

Devon We stayed at the apartment after Easter. Sadly, it was extremely wet and windy which was a shame. On arrival, we struggled to get the key out of the key safe as it just wouldnt open. Eventually we got the key out but it did not open the door. We then found a second key safe, which was even harder to open and it took both of us to open it! ThRead moreankfully, that key worked. The first thing you notice as you enter the apartment is the musty, damp smell. The rooms are a good size. The second bedroom is a long way from the main area of the apartment which may or may not be favourable. Probably not great if you have a baby or toddler. The kitchen was large and nice. There was a pint of milk in the fridge and washing up liquid and a sponge. However, for the amount of money charged to stay, we felt a welcome pack with maybe a small loaf of bread or cake or biscuits would have been nice. In other similarly priced accommodations we have enjoyed there being foil, cling film, a little olive oil etc. A few home comforts would have been appreciated. The living room was fine, the settees not particularly comfy. A DVD player would be a bonus as the TV channels are limited on Freeview. We found getting into the car park a little tricky as we have a largish car and the entrance was a very sharp turn on a very steep hill. The rooms look out onto the car park so we wouldnt have left the blinds open as suggested to wake up to sea views. The out road was closed due to a landslide and fallen tree which was a little disconcerting for us in view of our bad weather with heavy rain and flooding. Theres not an awful lot to do in Lynton this time of year and in inclement weather and we arrived on a Sunday with most shops shut. All in all, we wouldnt return. Hide

The best view you could imagine. Very hilly, but near the cliff railway for easy access to Lynmouth. Incredibly spacious apartment with all your creature comforts.

The property's situation, location and views were exceptional. The furnishings were lovely but some of the kitchen equipment needs to be updated especially the frying pans!! The view outweighed any minimal issues we encountered.

A very spacious and well-represented apartment with breathtaking views from the lounge and main bedroom. A very much appreciated bottle, biscuit tin and milk were ready for us to enjoy! We really did have a wonderful stay. The only one addition I would make is that some items of crockery were little limited in quantity and there were only three wiRead morene glasses. This very slight observation did not detract from the overall experience which was truly outstanding. Hide
