We had an excellent stay at Geldings. The accommodation is very comfortable, quiet and well thought through. It is lovely location, in the countryside, but convenient for Barnstaple and the North Devon Coast. It is warm and cosy. There is ample equipment for a week self-catering. Scott is a thoughtful and friendly host. Whist Geldings is attached tRead moreo two other (almost identical) properties, it feels very private and there is no noise all tall from the neighbours. Thoroughly recommended. Hide

We had a lovely stay in Gelding Cottage - we totally agree with all the earlier reviews and definitely recommend it! Thanks to Scott for the welcome (yummy scones, jam, cream & some milk to get us started). Our top tip would be to use the nearby 'Snell Storage Solutions' for sat nav, it avoids sat nav taking you down the windy narrow roads.

We loved our stay at Gelding Cottage and would thoroughly recommend it. The cottage was sparkling clean and decorated in a light modern country style. Although there was only a small amount of private outdoor space - a pretty patio - it opened out at the back to a shared wildflower meadow with paths cut through it...beautiful and the dog had a whalRead moree of a time. Elsewhere the grounds were immaculately kept and offered plenty of pretty spots to sit with a cuppa or glass of wine. Hide

Fabulous holiday cottage in a great location. We took our 4 month old puppy and had plenty of room for his crate and pen. The accommodation was spotlessly clean on arrival and was very well equipped. The gardens are beautiful and the views from the fields at the back are stunning. Its such a peaceful location. Dog friendly beaches are within easy rRead moreeach, as are supermarkets and decent pubs. The hosts were very welcoming and friendly. Would definitely recommend to others and use again. Perfect!
