We loved our four nights in this lodge. The owner was lovely and gave us some really insightful suggestions about where to visit during our stay. The kind of suggestions you only get to know when youre a local. The lodge was immaculate! Holiday Cottages could do with extra boxes to tick for this level of cleanliness. The owners had gone above anRead mored beyond in terms of thoughtfulness. Things like a torch, light bulbs, dog blankets, tinfoil, sanitary and caddy bags, were all provided and really appreciated. As the photos show you feel like youre in a tree house. The birds and wildlife are lovely. Youre surrounded by Hartland Forest, which was gorgeous and perfect for dog walking. Wed definitely stay again. If nothing else just to explore the surrounding area more than our short break allowed. Hide

A lovely lodge in the woods, which was rather pleasant listening to the birds with a brew, and fishing lakes walking /short driving distance away. It was about 20/30 mins to a few lovely beaches. The Woolsery local pub was fab! Just dont go down the road marked not for HGVs not even in a normal car. There are other routes so ignore sat nav!!

Beautiful lodge in a very peaceful location. Feels very remote but only 1 1/2 miles to the main coastal highway and very easy to explore the north Devon coast and countryside. Lovely private decking to sit and enjoy breakfast or a drink at the end of the day. Everything you could need is provided for you. Lovely little extra touches by Hazel and a Read morecall to check in with us on arrival. Only issue is sat nav sends you down some very rough single lane roads, full of potholes to get to the lodge.
