Explore Devon by day and retreat to the comfort of this pretty cottage in the evening to catch your breath and a few winks before waking up to do it all over again.

Light and airy, this quaint one bedroom is made for two. If a day of touring Devon has left you in need of some downtime, the bright and open kitchen/lounge area is a snug spot to spend an evening in. Select a film and sink into the sofa, stretch-out and indulge in some escapism. Unfortunately, there is no washing machine, but there is a launderette nearby. Short breaks are welcome during off-peak times.

Just 1 mile outside the town of Ottery St Mary, famous for its flaming tar barrels event held every November. Dip in and out of the pretty shops and tea rooms, making sure you leave time for a Devonshire cream tea. This property is 7 miles from the coastal town of Sidmouth which boasts beautiful beaches and retains a sense of grandeur from the Victorian era when it was a very fashionable destination frequented by the Queen herself. Venture 13 miles west to the charming cathedral city of Exeter to see fascinating architecture, feast on delicious food and wander its historic streets.

It is very comfortable. There is every thing you could possibly need.Ester is a wonderful host,don't bother but are welcome to see her if you need anything or have a problem.

Clean, comfortable cottage. Friendly owners, Esther and Steve, available when you need them. Lane can get busy, be careful when walking dogs. Gosford Lane has stream and grass 100 yards away. Gosford Farm for fresh eggs. Ideal location for local towns and beaches, Beer, Branscombe, Exmouth, Honiton, Sidmouth, Donkey Sanctuary is free. Coldharbour FRead morearm does excellent lunches. Furniture needs updating, sofa very uncomfortable. There is very little room to store provisions although the fridge is good. Owners were not seen or spoken to.

Our stay at Little Beau was enjoyable. The prperty was warm & comfortable during some cold days & nights. We had good daytime weather which allowed us to go out every day and we visited local coastal towns (Sidmouth, Lyme Regis, etc.) We didn't feel confident enough to walk the dog from the property onto the road as it was quite busy! Everything you could need for your stay. Very clean. Kitchen had every utensil you could require. The only downside for us, with dogs, was the road is very busy, and the cars do go fast.

We made the most of our time at little beau cottage during a mostly wet week. The cottage was clean and the bed was comfortable. Would benefit from at least another lounge chair. Nice cosy cottage, in a lovely area. Nice bottle of wine very much appreciated. Weather was mixed, but managed to get out everyday. The donkey scantuary Was brilliant, and very dog friendly.

This cottage has everything you could want. Being from Somerset I'm used to narrow country roads and blind bends so wasn't worried. In the space of 2 days I saw Sidmouth, Lyme Regis and Branscombe. All of these were beautiful, and tocome back and chill out was heaven.

The location of this cottage is very good with lots of local walks from the door. The owners we very helpful, the kitchen was well equipped with everything you need, bed comfortable the only downside we could find that the sitting are was uncomfortable but if you intend to be out most of the time this probably wouldn't be a bother. There is a courtRead moreyard outside for sitting but the pictures do show the owners garden which you do not have access to which we found a bit misleading. Hide

Esther & Steve are lovely hosts. They welcome a dog at the property. Welcome bottle of bubbly in fridge! Brace yourselves for the very busy country lanes with many blind spots as you turn right out of the property!

The cottage is well situated in a small village. It is quiet and cosy. Inside it is set out lovely. The bed is so comfy we slept like logs every night. It was just wonderful staying there.

Very user friendly. Great for two people and two dogs. Owners very friendly and helpful. ( Even tho' our dogs are maniacs. ) Position is very good. However, Devon roads are a nightmare and, in this area, this is even more evident. All in all, a great break.

Location for visiting places of interest was good. Driveway access to and from the property was dangerous with the busy garage immediately opposite. Dog walks were along narrow country lanes making it difficult to avoid oncoming traffic

Lovely accomodation with plenty of all that you need. Great location for visiting towns, villages, pubs and seasides. Friendly owners, sorry we couldn't chat longer as we were busy dropping off or picking up granddaughters. We will be back in the winter as family live locally.

Little Beau is a warm cosy little hideaway with everything you need for a relaxing break away with your for legged friend, the owners give you complet privacy to enjoy your holiday but are on hand if you should need any assistance, this was our second stay and god willing we will have a third . Oh my goodness what a beautiful cottage to stay in. It has everything you could possibly need & more. Very stylishly furnished . Quiet location but so close to beautiful beaches & towns. Excellent holiday in very pretty area. Owners were friendly and helpful. Little Beau is a lovely cottage. The enclosed space is a shared gravel drive with gates. There is a convenient Sainsburys nearby.
