Overwhelmingly grand and brimming with Georgian splendour, this house is a wonderful abode nestled in five acres of park, woodland and garden. Inside, the classic charm and elegance of the manor house whisk you straight into holiday mode which only continues when you step outside and discover the tennis court and breathtaking views across the estuary and rolling hills beyond.

On entering the house, the beautiful hallway is instantly welcoming and gives you a taste of the other opulent rooms in the property. One of which is the impressive, classic drawing room on the ground floor. Choose a story from the bookcase and lose yourself in another world whilst keeping cosy in front of the wood burner as little ones play with some of the many toys on offer. Rustle up a morning feast in the farmhouse style kitchen complete with large oak table for busy breakfasts. For a memorable dining experience, the grandeur of the dining room is superbly suited to special meals. Throw open the French doors and enjoy a tipple on the terrace. One of 11 luxurious bedrooms is located on the ground floor and is therefore easily accessible; the remaining ten rooms can be reached by climbing the magnificent, sweeping staircase where comfort and relaxation await.

6 miles from home, the sand sea and surf at Westward Ho! are well worth a day trip, then finish the day with tasty fish and chips to fill hungry tummies. Here, hop on to the South West Coast Path for stunning views as you roam the cliffs. Flourishing flowerbeds lie 8 miles away at RHS Gardens Rosemoor and the market town of Bideford is 1.5 miles away for local cafes, shops and a stroll in the park.

Wow!!! What an amazing place. We had the most perfect weekend away in this fabulous house. The weekend was made even more special by Hannah, the owner. The pre-arrival information was extremely comprehensive and helped enormously with booking food, entertainment, activities, and more. Every spacious bedroom has its own bathroom, which was key for uRead mores of an older age! The lounging areas, games rooms, and dining facilities were all perfect for our celebrations. 1 of the best properties we have stayed in and as a family of 24 there are not many that can house us, and we have stayed in most of them. So spacious with everything you could wish for in a property. Favourite part was the outside seated area with 2 fire pits, endless supply of firewood, and amazing views.

Excellent venue. The 2 kitchens made catering for 18 people so straightforward. This really is a truly spacious property and provides a magnificent space to enjoy with friends and family. The owners have thought of pretty much everything.
