Explore the whole of Devon from this centrally located, barn-style holiday home. Sleeping four people and also welcoming one happy hound, the two-bedroom property is set in rural surroundings near Templeton, 4 miles from Tiverton. Head off on picturesque walks from the inviting retreat, which is set on a farm, or drive 12 miles to reach the edge of the magnificent Exmoor National Park or 17 miles to the Blackdown Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty to explore further afield.

Wander into this bright barn, with its creative upside-down design to ensure it captures the scenic views, and make yourselves immediately at home. Find a four-poster king-size bedroom, with en-suite shower room, Smart TV and doors to the garden downstairs, together with a twin bedroom, with en-suite shower room and Smart TV. Climb the stairs to an airy, open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner, where you can relax, watch the Smart TV and take in the views. Prepare holiday meals in here too and dine together at the table. Find a handy utility room, with a washing machine and WC, at this level too. Make the most of your outside space on sunny days. Dine in the enclosed garden as often as possible and enjoy the tranquillity. The barn comes with parking for two cars.

Head into Tiverton for the morning to browse in independent shops and stop for coffee and cake in a cafe. Pick up the 8-mile Grand Western Canal Cycle route here too, which runs as far as the Somerset border. The Exe Valley Way also passes through the town. This runs for almost 50 miles from the South West Coast Path National Trail on the Exe Estuary to the village of Exford on the high land of Exmoor National Park. Drive 16 miles into Exeter to explore the historic city.
