If you enjoy a quiet, peaceful location, the cottage is ideal. If you want shops, pubs, restaurants, beaches etc, driving is essential. The cottage is comfortable, inviting and well equipped; ideal for a family with 3 kids, or, as relevant to us 2 couples and dogs (very dog friendly)! Would definitely recommend!

We spent a lovely week in Highfield Barn. It was beautifully quiet and peaceful and the excellent showers and comfy sofas were just what we wanted after a hard day climbing on the local cliffs.

Had a great stay with our 3 dogs. Well stocked kitchen with some really thoughtful touches (condiments, cleaning products and dog treats). Our 14 year old loved having the upstairs to herself, including the reading area on the mezzanine. It is remote but ideally placed for exploring the area. Would recommend.

Fantastic cottage with a great garden. Had everything we needed and was very comfortable. We all enjoyed our time there very much. Off the beaten track but suited us and other than the odd car coming towards us on the single track roads, posed no problems for us.

This was a lovely place to stay & the best equipped holiday cottage we have ever booked. It was beautifully cleaned & presented - a real home from home in every respect. The enclosed garden was perfect to sit in after a day exploring & a good size for our little dog. The coastal path is easily accessible & spectacular. If youre walkers who like creRead moreature comforts, this is the place for you. If you prefer touring in the car, youd probably be better booking something closer to main roads. Hide

Beautiful well equipped accomodation. Comfy living area and beds. Pretty enclosed garden. The barn is one of several, not isolated, but we did not hear the neighbours.
