Enjoy all the comforts of home at this detached bungalow. A peaceful bolthole for family or friends, it’s just half a mile from the sand and surf of beautiful Croyde Beach, and has an enclosed garden plus private parking. Located at the end of a quiet lane with little passing traffic, this family-friendly bungalow offers a warm welcome for a party of four, close to the centre of lively Croyde.

After a busy day on the beach, the modern galley-style kitchen, adjacent to the lounge, has all you’ll need to cook up a feast' eat in a relaxed fashion at the breakfast bar or step into the separate dining room for a more formal feast. Light and airy, the lounge is where you can unwind with a movie or plan your next day’s adventures. When it’s time to retire, choose from two cosy bedrooms – one with a double bed and patio doors onto the garden, the other with full-size twins, and both served by the spacious family bathroom. This detached property sits within an enclosed garden where there is a lawn and patio area with outdoor furniture plus pretty, seasonal planting – a perfect setting for sundowners and stargazing!

Croyde Beach is a year-round favourite among the surfing crowd. Just to the south of it, Saunton Sands is better suited to beginners and is backed by the impressive Braunton Burrows, one of the largest sand dune systems in the British Isles and a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve. Just 9 miles north, Ilfracombe is home to the iconic Landmark Theatre, Tunnels Beaches and, overlooking the harbour, Damien Hirst’s statue of Verity' take a boat trip from here to Lundy Island and you might see dolphins and puffins. For time away from the beach, visit Barnstaple (10 miles), the largest town in North Devon with a historic Pannier Market and a host of independent stores.

We really enjoyed our stay. The property is traditionally furnished and decorated but clean and well equipped. The location is good, easy walk in to Croyde, and the beach is a short walk across the burrows / dunes or a short dive to the beach car park or NT car park, which has a gorgeous tea garden. The beach is lovely, but not easily accessible foRead morer pushchairs or wheel chair users. The coast walk to Putsborough / Woolacombe is challenging but worth the effort. Hide

Delightful bungalow in a quiet location, really well equipped, clean and tidy, with a good-sized garden. We very much hope that we will be able to book Seahaven again in the future. Many thanks.
