Pack a picnic lunch and visit Fishcombe Cove (half a mile away) sheltered by red sandstone cliffs and calm waters, perfect for a dip. Shoalstone Beach (2 miles) is a great family beach with rockpools to explore and a seawater lido for a wild swim.
