Pleasant property convenient for town & walks (with dog). Daytime traffic past property heavier than expected during our visit although probably due to ongoing roadworks in town. Owner very helpful responding to query regarding thermostat. Great takeaways nearby.

This is a tidy, comfortable cottage. Our dog enjoyed exploring the sunny garden. Downstairs shower room and toilet not a problem. Two double bedrooms with plenty of space. Good near-by walks along the river to the centre, shops and beach. A good pub a short distance away. Situated on a busy corner but parking is available close by.

Nice little cottage with two bedrooms upstairs and a downstairs bathroom. Front door straight into through living area. Well fitted kitchen. Comfortable beds and pillows but road noise is substantial at certain times at front of the cottage. No actual parking for the cottage so you have to fibd a spot somewhere. Nice friendly pub nextdoor.

Nice little cottage in a good location. It was lovely to walk in to the town along the river. Everything was pretty spick and span. Would certainly suit a short stay.

We had a lovely week with our 2 dogs. Comfortable beds, good shower, everything we needed in the kitchen, reliable Wi-Fi, easy to control heating and a safe garden space for the dogs. We enjoyed the coastal walks from the cottage along to Dawlish Warren and further on for a lovely lunch at The Anchor in Cockwood. Also in the other direction to The Read moreSmugglers Inn for a Sunday roast. Everywhere was very dog friendly. Hide

Had a lovely week in Pippin cottage, unknown to us when we booked it was Dawlish Carnival week, we particularly enjoyed watching the Pram Race go past the front door! The cottage is small but had everything we needed and is nicely decorated. Its also an easy walk to the beach, to various cafes, pubs, restaurants and takeaways and to Dawlish train sRead moretation for trips further afield. We also had our dog with us and were surprised how dog friendly everywhere is. Hide

Clean and comfortable but a little over priced for what it is in my opinion.
