Delight in a stay at this exquisite cottage in pretty Appledore. Sleeping four guests, the charming, two-bedroom retreat is situated right at the heart of the historic, Devon, fishing village, which is known for its narrow, cobbled streets and colourful cottages. With an impressively large garden, this holiday home is perfect for a small family or couples eager to have shops and eateries within 300 metres of their base. It is also less than 2 miles from the beach at Greysands.

Wander inside to find friendly, welcoming accommodation with a gentle, coastal theme. An inviting lounge/kitchen/diner with a wooden floor encompasses much of the ground floor of the cottage. Here, you can prepare the fresh seafood you have bought on the dock at Appledore and sit down to meals together on those evenings you decide to cater for yourselves at home. Open the French doors to the garden in the dining area on warm, summer days. Play games, make plans, or watch the Smart TV in the lounge area during the colder months. The family bathroom is also at this level. At the end of each fabulous day away, climb the stairs up to the first floor to lay your head in one of the comfortable bedrooms. These include a king-size bedroom with a TV, and a twin with an en-suite WC. Make the most of the outstanding garden whenever the weather is fine. Take four steps up to play games with the children on the lawn. Choose between different seating areas for dining out.

Take a cruise from Appledore along the Torridge Estuary or catch a ferry in the high season over to the beach at Instow. Enjoy a pleasant 2.5-mile walk through the duney Northam Burrows Country Park to reach the sweeping, golden sands of Westward Ho! Beach.

Beautiful cottage - we have stayed there 3 times now and cannot fault it in any respect. Clean, stylish, comfortable, well-equipped and in an ideal location for exploring Appledore. This was the first time we've had weather warm enough to enjoy the garden which was a major bonus. Will definitely be back again

This is one of my favourite cottages I have stayed in over 20. years of trips to Devon. Spotless, comfortable, quiet, warm. Perfect location. Everything you could need. The garden is lovely even in November and we enjoyed the warmth of the autumn sun with a pot if tea most mornings. 2 mins from the harbour front. We utterly loved it. We visit Appledore regularly and have stayed in a variety of places. Without question Coral Cottage is the best of them all. Everything about it is just right - beautifully furnished, cosy, comfortable, equipped with everything you could need, spotlessly clean and in a great location for exploring Appledore. This was one of the best cottages we have ever stayed in for comfort, decor and equipment - everything we could have hoped for. A little gem of a place, with a high degree of cleanliness and comfort. Be aware that the cottage can't be reached by car, as the tiny streets are too narrow, so everything must be taken there on foot. But nothing is far aRead moreway and the little gift shops, pubs and the deli are charming and have good quality produce. The garden is a bonus and has been beautifully kept. Hide

We had a great stay in this cottage. It was clean, well equipped and the garden is a bonus. Slight issue on day of arrival as we arrived around 6 and there was no parking on the quay, so had to make several trips to and from the car to unload. We found a car park up the hill to use.
