Set in an idyllic countryside location, this fantastic property is perfect for families or groups of friends. Fresh and bright in a reverse-level style, this holiday home gives you the opportunity to experience stunning views from the comfort of the living area. Your canine companions are well looked after with a basket full of doggy toys that you can play with in the garden, and humans will love sizzling up a BBQ and dining alfresco to plan the next day’s activities in pretty surroundings.

Whether you’re cooking up a storm in the contemporary kitchen or enjoying a book on the sofa among the superb vaulted ceilings, it won’t be long before you feel relaxed here. Neutral colours blended with chic furnishings offer an elegant ambience; there are lots of green, welcoming plants dotted throughout to bring the outdoors in. Downstairs, the bedrooms add a little bit of luxury to your sleep; wake up refreshed and ready for anything, heading up to eat breakfast at the dining table with the whole family for a sociable start to the day.

Beautiful Widemouth Bay is just 5 miles away and is perfect for rock pooling when the tide is out; if the pup is with you, Black Rock Beach south of Widemouth (5.5 miles) is an ideal choice. The Gnome Reserve (14.5 miles) is a firm favourite with children and grown-ups; try and spot gnomes and pixies among the wildflowers and woodland. Get the adrenaline pumping at Atlantic Pursuits (7 miles) or Tamar Lakes Activity Centre (9 miles), both of which offer kayaking, canoeing, and paddleboarding. Tamar Lakes is best if more sedate guests would prefer a peaceful stroll around the lake.

An excellent place to stay. Ideal for inter-generational families with dogs. Well equipped and well maintained. Helpful assistance from the management company. The location is well placed for a variety of activities.

This is a lovely property. Set in peaceful countryside off a single track rural road, but only about 100yds from a standard two lane road it has the benefit of being quiet but not remote. One of a group of 4 buildings, the large garden is not overlooked and has a variety of outdoor seating, including a covered picnic table adjacent to a firepit andRead more a Webber barbecue. The downstairs bedrooms are comfortable and nicely furnished, with an excellent rainfall shower in the ensuite. The upstairs open plan living area is bright and airy, with a well equipped kitchen, and is very comfortable. We would happily return to this lovely property. Hide

Lovely open plan upstairs was excellent. my dogs loved the big garden and grassed area. Location for me was good 10 mins feom my favourite beach in Bude without the tourist bustle.

Lovely comfortable cottage. 3 double bedrooms worked really well for us. Plenty of parking and good size of outdoor space. Well equipped and the stair gate was great for the dogs. The welcome gifts were a really appreciated gift.

Beautiful barn conversion to a very high spec. Very comfortable with all mod cons. Very dog friendly with dog towels and blankets and not forgetting the dog treats. Would highly recommend and will definitely be back for another visit

Dovecote is an absolutely beautiful holiday home which catered for all our needs, including our dog Arlo. The location is perfect for visiting all the lovely areas of North Cornwall. We enjoyed spending time in the garden. A well thought out holiday home. We definitely plan to return one day.
