Formerly the village bakery, this home is full of history and original features. You’ll enter via the ground-floor hallway, where there’s space to leave coats, muddy boots and bikes, along with a handy washing machine. Upstairs, the open-plan living area has striking appeal thanks to exposed stonework, timber beams and a vaulted ceiling. After busy days exploring Devon, stretch out on the comfortable seating, watch the Smart TV and sit down to meals at the handsome dining table. The stylish kitchen is fully equipped for whipping up holiday meals. There are three bedrooms: a cosy twin with timber beams and a Juliet balcony, a relaxing king-size and a welcoming single with an en-suite shower room. Outside, patio doors open onto an enclosed garden with a sweet courtyard area for al fresco dining. A couple of steps lead down to a lawn where children and dogs can happily safely. Off-road parking is available subject to availability.
You’ll find plenty to do nearby, including the fascinating Iron Age hillfort (0.5 miles) and the pretty seaside resort of Lyme Regis (6.5 miles).
