Spend the day building sandcastles, rummaging in rock pools and surfing some of Cornwall’s best waves. For completely different scenery, journey 24 miles to Boscastle. Set deep in a ravine, this natural harbour is quite magical. Wander amongst the white-washed cottages before heading high above the village to explore the surrounding rugged landscape.
