Sleeping up to six guests, this spacious cottage is ideal for a relaxing getaway on the English Riviera. From the property you'll enjoy lovely views across the pretty fishing town of Brixham and will soon slip into the slower pace of life, enjoying casual strolls along the harbour and magical boat trips around the bay.

The crisp, clean interiors of this three-storey property create a tranquil and relaxing living space, accompanied by rich furnishings to ensure comfort and cosiness. From the double bedroom, you'll discover views over Brixham – not a bad way to start the day! These far-reaching views are also enjoyed from the snug on the second floor. Outside is a small enclosed rear garden housing a bistro set, making it the ideal spot to sip a morning coffee.

Brixham is a small fishing town with buckets of character and charm. You'll be enchanted by the cute independent shops and abundance of galleries. During your stay take a stroll along The Strand on the harbour to visit Artists' Corner where you can witness local artists at work. Kids will love the activities onboard the Golden Hind Museum Ship (also in the harbour). It's a full-size replica of Sir Francis Drake's famous ship and is a great all-weather attraction. You'll be spoilt for choice when it comes to seafood – there are some exquisite restaurants in Brixham or why not pick up the catch of the day from one of the many fishmongers? Berry Head (2 miles away) really is a must, too. The nature reserve is a Site of Special Scientific Interest and is a fabulous spot for keen photographers and wildlife lovers.

My two friends and I had a wonderful stay at Skippers. The cottage had all that we needed. We had a double bedroom each, plenty of both towels and loo paper. The showers are excellent and there's hot water on tap all day and night. The two doggies also had a lovely time.

A very comfortable cottage that we'd happily stay in again. The location is great with the harbour and shops very easily accessed. Some steps and inclines in Brixham are par for the course. Furzeham Green just up Station Hill was perfect for the dogs.
