Overlooking the estuary and beyond, this light and airy property is perfectly positioned for exploring Appledore and the North Devon coastline. Stroll the narrow streets of bustling Appledore, catch the ferry to nearby Instow or follow the coast path to neighbouring Westward Ho!, all without having to use the car. Mealtimes are best enjoyed by the large bay window, from which the beautiful views can be admired.

Inside, this property is spacious, bright and contemporary with an open-plan lounge/diner complete with wooden flooring, high ceilings and an inviting L-shaped sofa. The master bedroom enjoys wonderful sea views and offers plenty of storage space for making yourselves at home, while the twin room reflects a subtle coastal style. When the sun is shining, enjoy a cup of coffee or glass of wine in the shared seating area outside.

With a bustling quayside, colourful fishermen’s cottages and quaint shops, cafes and restaurants, Appledore is a charming traditional seaside village. Cross the river by foot-ferry to reach Instow, which boasts a delightful sandy beach and range of amenities or stay on dry land with a walk to Westward Ho! (3 miles), home to a 2-mile stretch of golden sand and choice of water sports. Great days out with friends or family can be spent at nearby The BIG Sheep (4 miles), The Milky Way (11 miles), Clovelly (14 miles) or Dartington Crystal (10 miles).

What a lovely flat - comfortable and spacious with everything you could possibly need, and such a wonderful view from the main room and the main bedroom - just gorgeous. Appledore is such a pretty town and there are a couple of really lovely little shops and Johns Deli and Cafe. Four pubs within walking distance and the Flame Factory serve wonderRead moreful pizza and burgers - it is also coeliac friendly along with the Seagate Inn. Whilst in Appledore we visited Instow (over the water on the foot ferry), Clovelly, Croyde, Westward Ho and Arlington Court (National Trust). We had a wonderful week and the weather was fabulous. The apartment is large and roomy. Great views over the bay. Good parking. Close (200m) to pubs, restaurants, shops and Appledore harbour, although walk back up the hill may challenge some. Would return again.

Great location and views. Very useful to have a parking space in Appledore ( although not guaranteed). However, this flat felt very old and jaded. Needs an overhaul.
