We appreciate it states a "working farm" but the overall general "courtyard" and our small back garden were in need of sprucing up to make it more welcoming. The "petting Farm" was practically inaccessible due to really overgrown grass. We had booked for 3 nights but left a day early.

Barn Owl is a large barn conversion with plenty of space for 10 to both eat and relax together. The kitchen is well equipped, the wifi is excellent throughout the house and it was spotlessly clean (including no smell of dogs!). It is in a peaceful rural location but the nearest beaches are less than 20 mins drive, and there's a large supermarket leRead moress than 10 mins away. Unfortunately the faciilities outside of the cottage are in urgent need of some TLC- the games room has grafitti on the walls and now only a pool table and table tennis table (propped up with bits of card as the floor isn't flat), the kids play area is tired, there are left over Christmas decorations and rubbish in the flower beds and the path into the village is no longer usable unless you fancy a paddle across the stream. There is a washer but No tumble dryer- no radiators So the washer was pointless. Mill Cottage is in a good location- Wellies are essential to walk dogs as the grass on the fields is long and so even on a Dry morning- its wet

Beautiful conversion into a comfortable cottage - very dog friendly with a field put aside and even washable throws for the sofas specifically - means anyone without dogs can have pristine sofas too. Really good location to explore the local area - we went north and south with ease.

We had a fantastic time at Mill House Cottage. Our boys LOVED being on the farm and seeing the animals after breakfast each morning. Youre surrounded by lots of fantastic beaches just short drives away. We would definitely recommend for families looking for a wholesome holiday

Great location. Cottages spotless on arrival. Booked 2 cottages as the whole family was away with us. The younger grandchildren loved the animals. Great that we could take the dogs away with us.

Loved area to visit, although Ilfracombe itself was disappointing. Woolacombe beach was in easy reach with the car, super place for kids and dogs. My granddaughter was disappointed as there were no rabbits or guinea pigs to see( as on website) , but she did enjoy the Rhea birds.

The overall look of the cottage was great. It was a bonus that the dogs could sleep in the bedroom. We had some beautiful sunsets and as there was no light pollution, it was great for star gazing.

Beautiful cottage in a lovely peaceful location on a working farm. The owner is friendly and approachable. The walk to the nearest village is good for the dogs. The village shop is village run and stocks nice pies. The pub doesnt open till late. You must take your own towels. I had to buy some.
