The cottage is very isolated, up a mile long single track. We were prevented from leaving 2 mornings by horse and cow movement. The isolation suited us, but would not be for everyone. Because of the isolation the WiFi is not the best, if you have children or a job that needs you to work whilst away it may not be for you. We loved it, the isolation,Read more the limited use of phones and iPad, the lack of 400 channels was idyllic. Kevin greeted us on the first afternoon and was extremely informative and pleasant. The garden is secluded and a sun trap, you only have the next door cows for company. A return visit will be made in the future. Hide

The cottage was lovely in a very quiet setting which really suited us just birdsong, no other noise. The cottage was very spacious, very clean and very well equipped. There was lots of storage which was great. The very large enclosed garden was great for our dog Otis and even a water bowl for dogs was there to greet us as we met Kevin the host who Read moreshowed us around and gave tips on places to see. Would love to book again just sorting some dates out for the next time. We really couldnt fault the cottage at all. Hide

This cottage was the cleanest self-catering cottage we have ever stayed at. It was a very practical cottage for dogs (and their owners) with hard flooring throughout and having the laundry room helped as the weather for us wasn't great!. The garden and surroundings were perfect for our German Shepherd dog and the peace and quiet was fabulous. KevinRead more was extremely helpful and it was great to know he was on hand if needed. The location was in an ideal location to travel to various parts of Exmoor . Hide

Comfortable and well equipped cottage in a peaceful location. Lovely good sized garden and surrounded by open fields and woodland. Fields available for dogs to run around if livestock free. Helpful and friendly host, on hand if anything was required.
