Go up the external stairs to the front door and into the stunning open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner, which is lovely and light and has an amazing, vaulted ceiling with wooden beams. You’ll want to spend evenings curled up on the sofas watching your latest favourite on the Smart TV in front of the wood burner, cooking tasty meals in the kitchen area, with everything you need for eating in, and enjoying mealtimes together at the dining table. Head downstairs to bed in the two bedrooms, a classically stylish double room with a lovely wooden bed and an en-suite bathroom, and the pretty twin bedroom, which has a smart en-suite shower room. On sunny days, take a drink out to the patio and sit and enjoy the peace and quiet.
Head to the beach (less than 1 mile away), 2 miles of golden sands the pup is welcome on 365 days a year (with some restrictions during the summer). Go for a walk along the varied terrain of the beautiful South Devon Coast Path, have a go at surfing, kayaking or paddleboarding. Walk or cycle along the Tarka Trail, take the footpath south along the riverbank to the market town of Bideford (2 miles), or north to the pretty fishing village of Appledore (2 miles).
