Take a stroll down to the famous surfing beach and watch the surfers in action from the comfort of the sands. You can try your hand at water sports with a surf or paddleboard lesson or just sit back and enjoy the amazing view. Join the South West Coast Path and head up to the National Trust’s Baggy Point, half a mile away, or let the path take you south past the 3-mile stretch of golden beach at Saunton Sands. Walk into Croyde for shops, pubs and restaurants or drive the 11 miles into the bustling market town of Barnstaple for a wider selection.

The cottage was very close to the main street in Croyde, with a great choice of eating places, which were all very good. Also only a short walk to the beach. We had an enjoyable stay.
