The wonderful RHS Rosemoor (6 miles) offers an opportunity for walking amongst lovingly tended gardens, and also is the venue for a number of family-based theatrical and musical productions throughout the summer months. The picturesque fishing villages of Clovelly (18 miles) and Appledore (15 miles) are well worth a visit.
