Lovely welcome pack of local milk bread and butter. Well appointed kitchens and a bed that was like coming home! The views are amazing. The garden was properly enclosed, important to us because of the sheep near by and we took our dog. Would so much like to come again

Stone Quarry Cottage is a beautiful peaceful place to get some quiet time! I went there to do some studying and creative work alone and I couldnt have asked for a better environment. The place is stocked also with absolutely everything you could need and has the additional welcoming gift of eggs, bread, butter and milk which was lovely. The bath isRead more an enormous and luxurious. The bedroom is so comfortable. And the visits from the dogs saved me from being too lonely! Its beautiful. Hide

Comfortable, bright, very clean cottage. Good location. A few improvements for 5 star review. Although advert states acres of grounds only found a 20 minute walk through woods as paths blocked by overgrowth. Fields opposite full of sheep.

Lovely place to stay, so peaceful. Had everything we needed and the owners provided fresh eggs, milk, bread and butter. Our 2 labradors loved the woods and the fields. The fields were large & enclosed so the dogs were able to have the freedom to roam. I would definitely stay here again.

A perfect little cottage for a quiet break. The only sounds are birds, lambs and one noisy pheasant. It was lovely for our two dogs to explore all the smells on the walks which are easily accessible from the cottage. The bed was so comfortable we had good sleeps. We would love to return.
