Packed with character and irresistible charm, This Little Piggy is an ideal romantic trip with an almost fairytale twist. Set in Southeast Devon just 9 miles from the historic Jurassic Coast, this former piggery is part of a complex that was beautifully converted in 2015. Fill your days with adventures near and far, navigating Lyme Bay or pottering along local trails. In the evening, retire to the welcoming warmth of this rural retreat, indulging in a mug of hot chocolate and a favourite film for two.

The heart of This Little Piggy is the spacious and light-filled open-plan living area, stylishly decorated to create a homely atmosphere. The kitchen is of true country retreat decor, with coordinated accessories that even less enthusiastic cooks will find tempting. Unwind over a leisurely lunch at the table or find the perfect place to dine alfresco on the enclosed patio. At dusk, raise a toast by candlelight at the front of the property, stepping down to admire the stars from the shared garden and then sink into the delicious comfort of fresh linen in the cosy bedroom.

Hunt for fossils at Lyme Regis, a traditional seaside town along the Jurassic coast just 9 miles away. Also 9 miles away, Beer village is a great spot for a crab sandwich and a pint of local ale. Take in the spectacular views along the coastal walk from Beer to Branscombe – a tiny village with a traditional blacksmith and two pubs. For slower paced days, Burrow Farm Gardens is a delight to explore just 1 mile away, as is Loughwood Meeting House 1.5 miles away.

The appearance and decor of the cottage was very good on first glance However cobwebs and spiders were in almost every corner especially the top part of the shower. The biggest upset was not seeing Kate or Matt for the entire time we were there, especially after reading through the guest books! We obviously picked a bad time. Overall we did have aRead more lovely holiday as the weather was beautiful. Hide

We truly enjoyed our stay being able to relax in such a quiet, comfortable, and well equipped cottage. We dont usually book places where the owners are on site but would not hesitate to rebook as the owners were extremely friendly and helpful on the occasion we did need assistance, and yet respected our privacy at all other times. Its in a great loRead morecation so accessing places to visit along the coast was easy. Our only regret was not booking for longer! Hide

Lovely quaint, spotlessly clean cottage. Owners were very obliging, letting us park on their drive for the whole week, which was closer to the property as I was using a crutch. The property was home from home with added touches of a cream tea on arrival and welcome message. Situated in a convenient area for nearby beaches, pubs, good food. RecommenRead mored a trip to River Cottage, beautiful food. The Tuckers Arms was welcoming and very good food. Hide

Lovely cottage in a great location for exploring East Devon, Dorset & Somerset. Easy to find just off A35. Great views, comfortable bed & sofas. Although does have another cottage adjoining it is very private & quiet.
