Just 6.5 miles from the pretty village of Meeth which marks the southern end of the famous Tarka Trail, the property is ideally located for walkers and cyclists keen to get out and enjoy the Devon countryside. For a trip to the coast, the cobbled and quaint Clovelly is 16 miles away on the glorious heritage coast where you can also pick up the South West Coast Path. Catch a glimpse of local life at nearby Sheepwash village (3 miles), crammed with thatched loveliness and home to Torview Wines where you can take a tour and pick up a bottle to enjoy back home.

As a disabled person, the cottage worked really well. Very well set out and maintained. Cream tea, eggs and milk a thoughtful touch. Lovely to sit and watch the wildlife. Dog was in doggy heaven. The only down side was the English weather.

WOW what a fantastic property. We have had a lovely week in this gorgeous cottage which is done to a very high standard. The views are amazing and we saw so much wildlife. The owners Val and Phil are so friendly and helpful. We enjoyed it there so much we booked another week for later in the year while we were there.

Excellent cottage all around - location, comfort, tranquility of the surrounding area. Val is a great host, knowledgeable and very friendly. We really enjoyed our 5-day stay, and definitely recommend it! Also, hoping to comeback soon :)

Amazing property, well equipped and comfortable. The owners Val & Phil were lovely and greeted us on our arrival and showed us round the cottage. The grounds were gorgeous and we spent our afternoons just watching the wildlife and relaxing. The roads around are a bit tricky if you're not used to driving along narrow roads, but they're not busy so yRead moreou only meet 1 or 2 cars on your journey. If you're lucky you might get to see the deer visiting the garden too. Highly recommend this property! Hide

A lovely, spacious and well equipped cottage with a big garden, including an enclosed area for dogs. The area is very rural so quite long drives to get anywhere, except for RHS Rosemoor garden which is quite close.

After staying in many cottages this was the best ever and we enjoyed every minute. Well equipped comfortable & spacious, we explored parts of North Devon previously unknown to us. We are returning for another week next June & we are really looking forward to seeing the cottage in the summer.

Absolutley stunning place and hosts. Val and Phil are so lovely and make you feel at home. The Cottage has everything that you could ever need and more and the scones and eggs that are left as are welcome gift are so tasty. Little Homeleigh and its garden is a beautifully presented cottage. We stayed for four nights with the intention of going for a lot of walks but half of our visit we spent enjoying the cottage, its garden and wildlife. A great location to get away from the hustle and bustle and enjoy the peace and quiet but not to far from the beaches at Bude or WiRead moredemouth Bay or local shops in the nearby towns. We were made most welcome which was a great start to our holiday, also the scones were very nice and thank you for the eggs. The rooms were spacious and spotlessly clean, the kitchen has a large table and plenty of storage space, the lounge area a comfy sofa and very good TV. Wonderful cottage kept to a very high standard, immaculately kept and equipped, lovely and spacious, dog friendly with a great secure area outside gated leading on to glorious gardens and large grassed area. We've stayed at dozens of cottages over the years and this is certainly one of the best.

A lovely, well-equipped cottage, and spotlessly clean. Despite chilly damp weather we were snug and comfortable. The kind owners were friendly and helpful and the garden is a real highlight with lots of visiting wildlife, including deer! We would highly recommend Little Homeleigh to anyone looking for a peaceful and relaxing break.

Cannot praise this accommodation enough. Barn conversion is ultra clean with absolutely everything you could need. Extremely comfortable bed and very powerful shower. Quality furnishings throughout. The private country garden was mesmerising with wildlife. We spotted 25 different birds, as well as wild rabbits and squirrels. A haven of peace.
