With sea views through the sand dune system from the property as well as rolling hills, you could not wish for a better place to immerse yourself in nature.

Set on one level, the bright and airy exterior is reflective of the nearby coastline. Inside, a warm and welcoming ambience greets you in the light-filled lounge with its stunning garden views, and a spacious kitchen and dining area is just the place to cook and gather to chat about the day’s adventures. On warmer evenings, cook up a storm on the BBQ on the raised patio area and relax in the  garden. The property is attached to a private self-contained annexe which can be booked in addition to the bungalow.

Walkers should be sure to drive the 17 miles to Exmoor National Park where a beautiful landscape of moorland and woodland awaits, as well as a great variety of wildlife. The South West Coast Path is also easily accessed from Croyde Beach with the National Trust’s Baggy Point a half-mile walk away. Carry on just a mile and a half further north to Putsborough Beach with its great expanse of sand, and further around the coast you’ll come to the bustling seaside resorts of Woolacombe and Ilfracombe. The charming harbour village of Appledore is a must-visit at 21 miles away and is a delight to wander around, with its steep cobbled streets and long harbourside promenade.

We had a lovely week in the cottage very clean & comfortable the bed was super comfy had such a good night sleep. Very well equipped with everything you needed. A few minutes walk from the Thatch which is a favourite of ours, situated for easy access to the beach & baggy point. Very pleased will be returning again next year.

Braemar is a lovely bungalow in the centre of Croyde Village, which makes its location brilliant for both the shops/pub etc very convenient and also the beach. This was about a 20 minute walk which was fine. The house is very well equipped with everything you need, and is very spacious. There is a lovely garden to the front of the property where yoRead moreu can watch the world go by. The driveway is a little tight and we did knock our wing mirror case off reversing out, but managed to put it back on. Hide
