Climb the cottage-style staircase up to the first floor to find a double bedroom, with an en-suite bathroom. Dine out in the Mediterranean-style courtyard garden, where there is another WC and storage space for bikes, during the spring and summer months. Amble 500 metres down to the sand to swim and search for fossils. Langmoor and Lister Gardens, where you can picnic and gaze out to sea, are about the same distance. Pick up the South West Coast Path and strike out along the cliffs in either direction.
