The rural location is reflected in the interior of the property, with exposed stone walls, wooden beams and wooden floorboards. A warming wood burner features in the open-plan living and dining space which also has a delightful Juliet balcony looking out to the front lawn. A contemporary colourful kitchen is an ideal place to get together for meals, and stone tiles and elegant finishing touches give this property an extra special feel. The bedrooms and bathrooms are set over both levels and the gardens are a perfect place to sit and relax with a BBQ on warm evenings. 

You’ll be close to many charming villages with traditional inns and tea rooms, as well as just 7 miles from the bustling port of Bideford which has a great selection of shops and restaurants lining its narrow streets. Cross the famous 16th century stone bridge over to East the Water and join the Tarka Trail or take the ferry out to the wild Lundy Island. For a day at the beach, head to Westwood Ho! just 9 miles away, or the surfing resort of Croyde, 25 miles north.

The Barn was really spacious , comfortable,and clean , plenty of tea and coffee provided , loads of equipment if we wished to use it , very quiet and peaceful area , games equipment was great and the tennis court was enjoyed by all , would definitely use again if we return to the area

Adrian and his wife, were very accommodating, they are a lovely couple who have a well equipped home. The house is beautiful with fantastic facilities, Everything you can ever think of was there. Even provided a gazebo when one wasnt available. Would recommend and would certainly stay again.

We stayed here in a rainy cold February. The open plan living area i.e kitchen, living room, dining room was ideal for our large family. There is a gate to the stairs if you have young children. The log burner was very cosy. The accommodation was equipped with everything you could need. Plenty of things to do; lovely walks, games room, play area & Read morethe kids loved seeing the animals on the farm. We were equipped with raincoats & wellies, so we didnt let the rain ruin our break away. Lovely! Hide

The cottage was fully equipped for all our needs, plenty of room and games rooms, outdoor areas for everyone to enjoy. Cottage was clean, plenty of cutlery, crockery, glasses etc available.

The accommodation was very spacious, well equipped and kept to a high standard. Host were very helpful before and during our stay. Lots of entertainment/activities for everyone to enjoy on property. There is a gate at top of stairs which kept our toddler contained safely and appreciated the choice of standard cot/travel cot. He loved saying hello tRead moreo the animals everyday. Amazing stock of: kitchen equipment an essentials, dining crockery, sports equipment, music cds and dvds. Brilliant living and eating space. Excellent fire stove with ample wood to use. The hosts had thought about everything we might need as a group, and more. Best holiday rental we've experienced to date.

Perfect! Especially as we were there on a very wet and grey new year the house has everything you need including loads of fire wood, games, comfy beds, loads of space, lovely and warm, perfect for a group of adults with kids.

Knaworthy is an excellent base for a holiday in North Devon, with easy access to Bideford and Westward Ho, as well as the famous RHS Rosemoor gardens. The facilities are excellent, with a good tennis court and terrific games barn with table-tennis and skittles. The large lounge/diner/kitchen creates a great hub for a large family group, or a group Read moremade up of friends (as ours was).
