The cabin is cosy and perfect for a smaller dog. Very comfy bed. Great shower with good hot water supply. Kitchen amenities overall good, nice cooker but the kettle leaks! Lovely woodlands surrounding and lots of superb wildlife everywhere. Watch out for potholes and pheasants on the local roads! Good village store in Dulverton with a cafe. Great place for a quiet get away, very peaceful surrounded by wood land, the owner was close by if you should need anything, going for a walk is something worth doing even if you haven't taken a dog with you, the cabin is set out very well and comfortable, we are already thinking about booking it again.

The lodge is an ideal place to stay when it is dry as there is nowhere to put wet clothes/boots to dry. Being surrounded by woodland it could get messy during the wet months.

Lovely and secluded property where you feel miles away from anywhere. The lodge has all the essentials you need and is comfortable for a weeks stay, incl selection of dvds. Lots of nice walks from the door in both native & commercial woodland, and our dog had the time of his life running off lead. The host, Richard, was very friendly & helpful. SomRead moree nice cafes, restaurants & pubs in local villages, and some great attractions in the area including Haddon Hill & Tarr Steps. 1 hr from north coast. Hide

What a lovely, secluded place to stay for a week. Small but perfectly formed!! Lovely garden for us and the dog to relax in (we were very lucky with the weather). We had walks in the woods (we didn't see any wildlife, probably scared off by the mad spaniel being mad!!) Would definitely love to stay again.
