This cottage is situated in a great location for going out for trips in this area. Lovely owners, very accommodating and walked up through the pretty vineyard to the views. The location of this cottage is superb and it is so quick and easy to reach key sites such as Lyme Regis, the pretty village of Branscombe, Seaton and Beer which all have great coastal walks. Although the cottage is in the middle with two other properties either side, we were never disturbed by any noise. It was very peaceful and quiet. We had mixeRead mored feelings about the cottage itself. Room proportions were good. There was adequate seating but everything felt rather tired and we felt there was no evidence that the cleaning fee was being used to good effect - cobwebs abounded everywhere. On reflection we would not return. Hide

Castlewood Cottage was a lovely cottage. It had all the necessary equipment in the kitchen, including a mixer, freezer and two fridges. The garden was pleasant, the surroundings beautiful. The local pub serves good food and good advice: a boat trip along the Jurassic coast, starting in Exmouth. One minor drawback: the beds were rather short and noRead moret very wide. As a tall family, we found this made sleeping a little less comfortable. So bear this in mind if you are tall and are thinking of visiting this cottage. Hide

We very much enjoyed our stay at New House! The location is lovely, down a rural lane, amongst the fields, attached to a working farm albeit that proved no issue in terms of noise or disturbance. The property is literally a country farm house and so accepting of its quirkiness and style is a must. The log burner in the lounge was a big plus and useRead mored a lot. Downstairs shower way better than the upstairs. Lovely secure garden out the back if you have dogs. We very much enjoyed our stay. Hide

We enjoyed our stay at Newhouse, which was mostly positive, with regular visits from Molly, the owner's dog, and friendly owners. However, some quality-of-life improvements could be made such as; more clarity on the booking page about how the fire is only available during the winter months, the downstairs shower having an extra shelf for soaps and Read moreextra cushions for the wooden chairs in the dining room. We enjoyed our stay, but these improvements could help boost the experience. Hide
