This handsome former coach house makes a fantastic holiday home for a party of up to six and is situated on a beautiful 30-acre estate in rural Mid Devon, close to the shores of Roadford Lake. Located within the grounds of a 16th century manor house, this lovely property has been imaginatively updated and features a fantastic private heated outdoor swimming pool. You will also have access to 30 acres of shared grounds, which house a wonderful lake with picturesque views.

This spacious, bright and comfortable holiday home has plenty of delightful features including an open fire set in the light and welcoming lounge/diner, exposed beams in the comfortable bedrooms, and a games room equipped with table football and a dartboard. As well as the swimming pool outside, the property offers a lovely sun terrace and a generously sized, enclosed lawn garden with a BBQ and plenty of garden furniture. You are also welcome to explore the extensive grounds of the property and enjoy the breathtaking views.

Close to the Devon/Cornwall border, this charming detached property makes a wonderful base from which to explore both counties. Just half a mile away, in the idyllic surroundings of the Wolf Valley, is Roadford Lake. This fantastic site offers a great activity centre, campsite, cafe and plenty of woodland to explore. The lake is perfect for fishing, canoeing, kayaking, and stand-up paddle boarding. You could also head to Launceston (11 miles) and take a trip on the steam railway or explore Dartmoor National Park (14 miles).

We enjoyed a wonderful Easter week at Tredown Coach House. From waking up to the sound of bird song and lambs bleating on the farm, to playing board games in the cozy lounge at night and cooking in the well stocked kitchen, each day was relaxing and fun - just what we needed! Louise and Jason are kind and generous hosts who welcomed us with a lRead moreovely Devonshire cream tea and lots of local treats. The area has many attractions within easy driving distance. We had a great time paddle boarding on Roadford Lake, going for a pony hack on Dartmoor and finished off our visit with a day trip to the Eden Project. It's the perfect holiday house for families with everything thought of. I can't rate the place highly enough and hope to return for another visit in the future. Hide

We've had the best family week. The pool is beautiful, perfect temperature. Lots of fun. The house is in the most beautiful setting. It had everything we needed. It's clean and comfortable. (The welcome basket and scones were a delight). I would highly recommend this property. We will be booking again!

We had a lovely relaxing break at Tredown Coach House with stunning views over the countryside. The cottage is unbelievably well equipped and cosy but spacious. We booked this property for the pool which was private and heated as described. If i could give this break more stars i would the most amazing place the little bits the cottage had was amazing swimming pool was a plus for the kids, waking up each day to the sheep an rabbits running around was amazing so peaceful an quite just what was needed will be going back for sure

Fantastic hosts, great location, swimming pool a real bonus for the kids. Everything was thought of in the cottage and the welcome pack and the beautiful scones a real treat. Couldn't fault it!

We found the cottage perfect for us ,near enough to the sea ,Dartmoor. Even trip to Dartmouth just over an hour away. There was everything you could want bbq, firepit, nice sized pool. The cottage was clean and tidy and the little touches like tissues in bedrooms and the welcome gifts show that this host cares about her guests. We thoroughly chilleRead mored out and enjoyed ourselves and would recommend without hesitation this cottage for a holiday. Hide
