Great little cottage in lovely location. Cottage is very small/snug but adequate for what was needed for a weeks holiday. We were fortunate to have very good weather which ment pool was very welcome and a great resource. Pool was quite cool/fresh and our 3and 7 year old could only tolerate for any time wearing wetsuits. We felt it was same temperatRead moreure as the sea! However, despite this they loved it and it made their holiday. Beds were comfortable and house very clean. Hide

A lovely cool cottage during the June heatwave. A big bonus was the swimming pool which we enjoyed every day. Not so good were the cooking smells from the pub next door. Unfortunately we were right next to their extraction system. Location was brilliant but those with larger cars (like us) will struggle to get in and out of the top entrance/exit inRead more one movement. In June the lane was relatively quiet but I can imagine it would be horrendous in the middle of summer. If you are not a confident driver reversing in country lanes the location may not suit you. Booked at cottage from Friday to Monday morning. Was advised by phone call during stay on Saturday at 2:30pm that there was a scheduled power outage from 8am on the Monday morning. They stated that owner had only just found out. There was therefore no point in hanging around after that so effectively had to check out by 8am, two hours prior to tRead morehe usual 10am check-out time. Was told if I wanted to complain to do so after checkout, which I did so requesting some form of compensation. Owner did not want to provide any compensation, or even an apology for the inconvenience and suggested I contacted National Grid instead for compensation. I did contact National Grid and they advised that all properties affected were advised via written notification in the post 19 days before the outage so it was a total lie that they weren't aware of the outage until 2 days before. The owner was not interested in resolving a legitimate complaint and only seemed to want to win the argument and have the last word that it wasn't their fault, and likewise with the managing agent holidaycottages.co.uk, all they did was spout their terms and conditions. What should have been a nice relaxing birthday weekend with a chilled Monday morning exit ended up being an early 8am exit. I really wasn't asking for much, an apology and nominal compensation. But finding out from National Grid that they'd lied about when they'd found out about the outage is shocking. Hide

Lovely cottage, farm is tidy and clean with a pool on site that we used most days. Beach is a 10 min drive to the dog friendly area and this is a fabulous, clean, sandy, beach. Pub next door does a great Sunday roast too.

A nice clean quiet cottage this is a very short walk from the local pub with a restaurant and a nice enclosed little garden for the dog. Easy to book and a pool is available in the warmer months. I would say although it sleeps 4 the downstairs area is more suited to two adults two children rather than four adults especially if they have dogs too.
