The location of this cottage was fine but just about everything else was a complete let down. Kitchen equipment severely lacking (no hand towel, no flat oven trays, no oven gloves, bin lid didnt work as it should) and crockery/utensils/glasses had to be washed before use as was very dirty. There was only 1 hand towel in the property which was soaRead moreking wet when we arrived, some bath towels old and rough, no instructions left re bin/waste protocol, washing line broken and no pegs, instructions say no pets but a dog and a cat came into the property when we were there (allergies?) We were extremely disappointed but saw no point in raising concerns as mostly unable to be resolved quickly. Hide

Great location, super views and friendly owners. The bungalow is looking tired and needs some TLC (which was also reported on a review last year).

The Location was very good & the views of the countryside lovely. The free range egg's bought on the farm were the best that i have ever tasted. Very easy to get into Ottery St Mary itself.

We would recommend this property it's situation is excellent, great views from the patio, the sheep the pigs.the cows and especially the chickens who would come over from their area and wander round the patio hoping to get fed. The inside of the cottage is comfortable, well equipped, clean with underfloor heating when the nights get chilly,it is wellRead more situated to cover a lot of south east Devon and would recommend Buckland Abbey once owned by Sir Francis Drake Hide
