A sunny patio and elegant light-filled lounge make this property a wonderfully relaxing place to enjoy a peaceful couples' break in the seaside town of Brixham. Situated in the town centre, just 300 metres from the seafront, there is an excellent range of restaurants and pubs to be discovered right on the doorstep.

Taking the steps up to the front door of this traditional fisherman’s cottage, guests receive a warm welcome when they step inside and find the homely kitchen/diner with a door opening out onto the pretty patio at the rear of the property. Steep cottage-style stairs lead to the first floor where the lounge is situated: a stylish room with a classic timeless feel, finished with well-chosen furnishings and home to a TV/DVD. A second set of stairs brings guests to the bedroom on the first floor, where they will find a double bed, built-in wardrobes, and an en-suite shower room.

Enjoying a fabulous location in the heart of the English Riviera town of Brixham, this cottage allows guests to truly enjoy all that the town has to offer. Corner Cottage is in an excellent location. The property was adequate, just. The cottage was not clean; lots of dust, cobwebs and general grime. We had to clean the patio furniture ourselves. The blinds in the bedroom are not fit for purpose, letting in significant bright light from sunrise. Great location, good size, good price. Stairs are very steep but was made aware before we arrived. Even my dog suffered!

Attractive and comfortable cottage in a fine, tucked away location. Kitchen space really excellent and no need for pilot's license to operate the microwave. It is our third time in this charming, quirky cottage. It is spotlessly clean and cosy in a great location, just a 5 minute walk to the harbour. There is a sunny garden and the invaluable bonus of a parking permit, just a short stroll away. It really has everything you need in a holiday let. The only negative for those less able-bodied is that the Read morestairs are very steep and winding. Hide

Cottage was comfortable and in a great location for the area. Parking permit a bonus and we only use the car once the whole week. Public transport was fantastic (just be aware that not all the buses go from the main bus station). Brixham is a friendly place to visit full of plenty of lovely places to eat and drink. A very relaxing week.

If you want to stay in Brixham and your on a budget, look no further than here. Stairs are spiral, but unless you have mobility issues, arent too much of a concern. I found keeping the top floor windows closed of a night to drown out the noise from the seagulls a must, for a good nights sleep. But this is Brixham, home of the fishermen. Cheap bus tRead moreickets to transport you around the bay, or in my case free, mean you can leave the car in the park. This is a care free holiday. Hide
