Beer is a picture-postcard seaside village (13 miles); from there you could even walk 1.5 miles along the South West Coast Path to Seaton (8 miles). Pretty Lyme Regis and its famous harbour are 10 miles away, just over the border in West Dorset. Inland, Axminster (5.5 miles) makes a fabulous place to stock up, look around or have a coffee and a bite to eat.
