Croyde is one of the UK’s best surfing spots, with a superb sandy beach just half a mile from the property. This idyllic part of the county is home to the beautiful beaches at Woolacombe, Putsborough and Saunton, all within 5 miles and easily accessible along the South West Coast Path. The path also leads to Baggy Point and further north towards Mortehoe (6 miles). Travelling inland, the cheerful village of Braunton (5 miles) has a choice of shops and pubs, and leads along to the dunes of Braunton Burrows (6.5 miles). Also within easy reach are the lively resort of Ilfracombe (9 miles) and the tranquil moorlands of Exmoor National Park (10 miles).
