Escape to this pleasant, thatched cottage in a rural spot in the Devonshire countryside with your family or group of four friends. Enjoy busy days exploring before a cosy evening in front of the warming wood burner or in your private courtyard garden.

Leave your walking boots in the hallway and start preparing meals in the stylish kitchen/diner. Boasting a Rayburn stove and exposed stone walls this is a lovely spot to cook and eat delicious dinners together. Once you have refuelled, curl up in the lounge which has comfortable seating and a roaring wood burner for the chilly evenings. Finishing up the ground floor is a study area with a desk, and a shower room. Upstairs, you will find the two bedrooms, a double and a twin bedroom, which both make use of a lovely family bathroom which contains a sumptuous slipper bath. Outside, a private courtyard garden has a decked area where you can dine alfresco or sip on a morning coffee. Parking is provided for one car.

A nice cottage on the outskirts of the village. Very well equipped with a nice courtyard garden. The twin beds are more suitable for younger children. We had a nice stay here and with a few improvements we would recommend it for a family of four.

The cottage is lovely but it could do with some TLC eg front door needs painting outside courtyard needs a good tidy up eg deweeding and a good sweep up the cottage is on a bend of a country lane so you have to be careful when pulling out all in all this did not spoil our stay it is a cozy lovely cottage.
