You’ll be just 2 miles from Dartmoor National Park, making it easy to visit top beauty spots such as Canonteign Falls and Haytor Rocks. The National Trust’s Castle Drogo (11 miles) makes a lovely day out, and you’ll also be just 10 miles from Powderham Castle. For shopping and eating out, Exeter is 8 miles away, and for a day at the beach, head to Dawlish (13 miles) or Exmouth (19 miles).
The retreat has a rustic charm, with wood-panelled walls and a colour scheme that complements the natural surroundings.
