If you're looking for a romantic break, this wooden cabin delivers. Upon arrival, a decked veranda offers spectacular views over the rolling hills of North Devon. The central area houses the lounge/kitchen with a comfortable sofa and a Smart TV with Netflix, and enjoys views of the open countryside. The kitchen area is well equipped to cook a delicious breakfast or a light snack. Just off the central lounge/kitchen is the bedroom area, which comprises a double bed. Completing the accommodation is a shower room with a shower and WC, which is accessed just beside the cabin. Next to the shower room are pegs where you can hang wetsuits after a day on the beach.

Enjoy some al fresco dining on the charcoal BBQ and afterwards toast some marshmallows on the fire pit, complete with log stools. There is a field for dogs and children to play in, and guests are welcome to explore the whole estate. With the owners, children can collect eggs from the chickens, visit the ducks and ducklings at the fenced pond, and ride Jumbo, a miniature Shetland pony; you’ll also find 20 friendly horses and ponies in nearby paddocks. Horses are welcome for an extra charge, payable directly to the owner, with grazing, undercover tie-ups when tacking up, and the use of the all-weather arena (advanced booking advised). Riding is superb, along farm tracks, up and down undulating hills, across grassy pastures, through beautiful woodlands, past scenic lakes, and with hardly any gates to open. Beach and Exmoor rides are only a short distance by horsebox. To the side of the property, there is off-road parking for two cars.
