On the ground floor, you'll find the well-equipped kitchen where you’ll spend time getting to know the double oven very well as you create masterful celebratory meals. There’s even an island with a couple of stools so someone can keep the chef company. The living room/diner is a wonderful spot to relax by the wood burner on either the sofas or the bean bag, and when you’re ready to eat together, gather around the table and gaze out of the dual-aspect windows at the amazing panoramic views of Dartmouth. There is a bedroom on this floor and is a great family option as it’s a bunkbed with double bed below with a single bunk above. The family shower room can be found on this floor also. The first floor houses three bedrooms- two en-suite king-size rooms and a twin. All the rooms are spacious and offer storage for your belongings. The outside area is where you spend a lot of time in balmy weather. The terrace offers incredible vistas of the harbour and there’s a table to enjoy drinks at, an awning as well as a small tripod BBQ to rustle up some supper on.
Dartmouth has something for everyone. The quay is popular for crabbing and passenger and car ferries crisscross the river to Kingswear for easy access to Torbay (11 miles) and Paignton Zoological Conservation Park (8 miles). Visit Greenway (6 miles), the former holiday home of the crime writer, Agatha Christie, now owned by the National Trust. Stroll out to Dartmouth Castle (3.5 miles), at the mouth of the River Dart or explore the narrow streets lined with stylish shops, cafes and restaurants.
