Once inside take a few steps down to level one and enter the spacious open-plan living room which has comfortable sofas positioned to capture the panoramic views, as well as a TV for when the sun goes down. The well-equipped galley-style kitchen is to the rear and it’s here that you’ll find everything you need to whip up celebratory meals. Patio doors provide access out onto the private paved terrace, the largest in this complex of properties. To the front, off the living room, you will find the super-king-size bedroom with an en-suite bathroom – enjoy the coastal views from inside or open the patio doors to the terrace. This bedroom has access to a sauna (for a small charge). Two further bedrooms are located to the rear, a twin and a small single (accessed only through the other bedrooms). A lane at the side of the building leads to Putsborough Beach which is sheltered by cliffs and is ideal for swimming and surfing. During the main season, a beach shop and cafe provide refreshments. With Woolacombe Beach and Croyde Bay 4 miles and 1.5 miles away respectively, you’ll be truly spoiled for choice when it comes to sandy shores. If heading to town is more your thing, just 10 miles away is the market town of Barnstaple, where there is a plethora of shops, a leisure centre and a number of lovely eateries. Slightly closer is Braunton (4 miles), where you can visit the Museum of British Surfing or access Braunton Burrows, a large network of sand dunes, perfect for afternoon walks.
